Heidi and Nicks’s Kelowna wedding was absolutely stunning. With planning masterfully handled by Stage Right etc. their day went off without a hitch and the cream, orange and yellow decor was beautiful and romantic. If your planning a wedding in the Okanagan valley I encourage you to call these awesome ladies! The reception venue was very fitting for the wine lover of these two, Summerhill Pyramid Winery. With its breath taking views and vast choices for photos I was truly impressed, oh and the food was to die for! Hair and Makeup was done by the fine ladies over at Eveline Charles, these ladies make my job so much easier when it come to editing, they have some serious talent! Enough from me, heres a few words from the bride:
“Heidi was born and raised in Calgary. We met at Enterprise while Heidi was renting a car from her brother in law. 8 months later was the first date and the rest is history. We choose Kelowna for our wedding spot because we wanted a destination feel and we both love the lake and wine so the winery had all those wrapped into one. Didn’t have too many DIY elements, though we did have a polaroid guestbook which made it fun for the guests and fun for us to look back on instead of just looking at signatures. When setting a budget always set it a little higher to have some extra cash cause in the end there is always a hidden cost or something costs more than expected. We enjoyed the trips out to Kelowna to plan the wedding, it was nice to have the quality time for the 2 of us to share in the planning stages. Favorite event of the day would def be the first meeting on the dock by the water. It was nice to have the intimate time to share how we felt seeing each other for the first time. No major advice but to just soak up every moment of the day cause it goes by so fast. Savour every moment!!”
